B.I.E PHOTO FLIPBOOK
In this project, I explore the beauty in everyday life by focusing on routine and repetition—key elements that define the mundane.
I chose to highlight the often-overlooked, “boring” moments we spend much of our time in,
showing that when we take a minute to slow down from our fast-paced lives and appreciate the little things around us,
these simple routines reveal unexpected complexity and meaning.
Through animation, photography, and observational research, I examine these daily actions in intricate detail,
revealing their hidden complexity and meaning. Inspired by artists like Sol LeWitt and Hans Eijkelboom, I explore the systems,
patterns, and repetitions found in everyday life—whether through conceptual structure or visual documentation of shared human behaviors.
By slowing down and observing these moments through a more scientific and artistic lens,
the ordinary becomes extraordinary—proving that there’s beauty, richness, and depth in even the most routine parts of our lives.
